So I walk into the room
To face my upcoming doom Cause my Dad signed me up to do Extemp
So I pick the three topics
and go to my box for some tricks
Cause I hear that where they’re kept.

I’d tried to make myself believe
that doing Extemp is ea—sy
But its hard to say that I’d rather pick this topic or that
‘Cause everything is never as it seems
When i do Extemp

So I go to write my speech about a certain leech
That lives off the coast of Australia
A big clock above my head
a guy next to me named Ted
Why can’t I remember what I just said said said

I look at the Judges and they smile at me
And now that my speech is done
I can say I had a lot of fun
